The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently issued regulations requiring all pubic water supply systems to develop a Lead Service Line Inventory of both water system owned and customer’s privately owned service lines. Water supply systems (such as the BPU) must conduct a Water Service Line Material Inventory to submit to the State.
