This week a customer came in to let us know that she received two of the following spam emails. What made the status of this email move from spam to potentially a scam was that it was sent with a sense of urgency as it was sent with “late notice” in the subject line. If you receive this email, do not provide any information through the link. The McPherson BPU does not have an “energy program” like this.
