McPherson BPU General Manager, Josh Bedel, has been named Chair of the Equus-Walnut Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) by the Kansas Water Authority. This appointment reflects Bedel’s continued commitment to water resource management across south-central Kansas.
The Equus-Walnut RAC represents eleven counties and brings together stakeholders from all water-use sectors, including public water supply, municipal, agricultural, industrial, and the public at large. As Chair, Bedel will lead the committee in guiding discussions on regional water priorities, identifying critical needs, and recommending projects that support long-term sustainability.
While this regional leadership role is an exciting milestone, it also reflects the everyday work happening closer to home.
